Melange a go-go

Melange a Go-Go is a point and click adventure game created for the GDKO 2025 Semi-final. The task was to create a game that only used a mouse as well as incorporating a number of items that were in previous GDKO rounds.

How to play:

This game uses buttons on the left side of the screen to determine your actions:

• Look - look at something
• Grab - grab an item and add it to your inventory
• Use - Interact with something
• Open - open something
• Close - close something
• Eat - Eat something
• Talk - Talk to something / someone
• Hit - Hit something

Additionally items can interact with the environment and each other, once they have been picked up, by dragging and dropping them.

There is also a save button. This game is based on classic point and click adventures and in keeping with that style of game there are a number of cheap ( and entertaining ) deaths. So, save often and enjoy the ride :)

(Hoping to strike a balance between helping if you need it and not ruining the whole thing)

1. USE the teleporter to leave the apartment
2. USE the mech suit to put it on and not get gassed
3. GRAB the lazer to add it to you inventory
4. OPEN the hallway painting to get the door code
5. OPEN the scarecrow to get the peanut
6. HIT then OPEN the snack machine to get the candy
7. DRAG the peanut to the flower pot to plant it
8. DRAG the candy to the ghost to make it dissapear
9. OPEN the bathroom cabinet to get the receiving teleporter
10. DRAG the duck to the trophy stand to reveal the sending teleporter
11. DRAG the calculator over the wand to get it down from the shelf
12. DRAG the sending teleporter under the goop drip in the lab
13. DRAG the Receiving teleporter over the flower pot to get the plant
14. DRAG the plant over the lazer gun to power it up
15. DRAG the powered lazer gun over the lock to open it
16. DRAG the wand over the dog
